FAQs
At Achieve Staffing we walk alongside you, our employer partner, and the employee to make sure you both achieve success – for short-term assignments or to build towards long-term and permanent placements. There can be concerns about employing formerly-incarcerated men and women. Post-release, men and women who are rebuilding or building their careers, are often reliable, qualified, and motivated people who appreciate the value of hard work and second chances. There are still barriers that may affect their career pathway – such as: loss of a driving license, childcare, transportation, reporting to a parole officer, health issues and other life issues. Achieve Staffing provides coaching and connections to community resources for needed support. That is the ACHIEVE advantage.
Yes. Achieve Staffing is a full-service staffing agency and is competitively priced. We will provide our employer partners with an hourly rate per employee based on the job description and requirements. The advantage to working with Achieve Staffing is that we are adding value – we provide employees with information on community resources for needed support. Achieve Staffing will be on call to assist our employees and employer partners, no matter the shift.
Yes. Achieve Staffing employees begin as temporary workers, but our goal is for them to obtain permanent employment. Once an Achieve Staffing employee transfers from our payroll to yours, a tax credit called the Workforce Opportunity Credit is available, described below:
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit available to employers for hiring individuals from certain targeted groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment.
WOTC joins other workforce programs that incentivize workplace diversity and facilitate access to good jobs for American workers.
One of the “targeted groups” in this federal credit people with criminal convictions who have been hired within a year of conviction or release date. More information on WOTC and the Federal Bonding Program (FBP) can be found at (need to create link for attached document) or www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/work-opportunity-tax-credit.
We know that you are calling us because you need workers quickly, so we meet with your team to learn more about your organization, culture, and the challenges (if any) you have in hiring/retaining employees.
Once we understand your goals, we match employees to your opportunity. Depending on the positions, skills required, and specific factors (location, shift, wages), Achieve Staffing employees are available within days.
Achieve Staffing respects the privacy of our partners and will only list them on our website or mention them in public with their permission. We offer the same discretion to your business. If you would like to speak with one of our employer partners, please contact us and we will make an introduction.
