James Stubbins, Achieve Staffing Account Manager, is originally from Zanesville, Ohio, and moved to Cleveland after graduating from Hiram College. For nearly a decade, James worked as a Mortgage Officer but made a career change to follow his passion and joined Towards Employment as the Staffing Specialist. Since then, James has placed Towards Employment participants with employer partners and helped hundreds of folks embark on a new career path.

For the last several years, James has worked for Achieve Staffing to build a client base and employee pipeline focusing on second-chance employment. James utilizes his years of experience working with job seekers and area employers in NEO to find long-term sustainable employment for Achieve Staffing candidates. In addition, James works closely with referrals to screen, assess, and qualify candidates for work assignments while helping to provide job opportunities to individuals who are housing insecure, long-term unemployed, or have other barriers to employment. He also follows up with active employees to verify they have the needed ongoing support to be successful on their assignments.

James also ensures client satisfaction by learning what an employer needs to be successful and helping Achieve employees follow through with expectations for their employment. By partnering with employers and using consistent communication, James and Achieve Staffing are committed to finding reliable and successful job-seeking candidates.

He lives in Cleveland with his wife, Liz, son Will, and dog, Bodie.
